The scene
In No Time to Die, the Rogue Territory Supply Jacket appears in Bond’s London lockup as he uncovers the Aston Martin V8 Vantage he has kept from his earlier life. The scene comes after Felix Leiter’s death has jolted him out of retirement. On screen Bond is alone, turning into the space, gripping the cover, and stripping it back to reveal the car in one decisive motion before driving out toward the next phase of the story.
The jacket helps define a Bond who is no longer in formal service but not yet restored to full ceremonial polish. Costume designer Suttirat Anne Larlarb has said her priority was to make sure Craig wore clothes as the character rather than letting the clothes wear him. That approach fits this moment exactly: the Supply Jacket reads as practical, understated, and lived-in, matching the film’s conception of a retired Bond grounded in function rather than display.
Its short cut, pointed collar, and workwear chest pockets make him look hands-on and self-sufficient as he reconnects with a machine tied to his past. Linus Sandgren said the shot was designed so Bond, seen in silhouette as he rips away the sheet, would feel powerful and heroic. The lighting stays low and directional, letting the garage sit in shadow while the car and jacket catch the available highlights.
Archive — the object
The jacket worn by Daniel Craig in No Time to Die is the Rogue Territory Supply Jacket in the unlined Tan Ridgeline waxed-canvas version. Rogue Territory was founded in Los Angeles in 2008 by Karl Thoennessen and Leslie Yeung, beginning as a custom denim workshop inside American Rag’s World Denim Bar before shifting in fall 2009 to ready-to-wear with its first capsule collection. The label has remained committed to small-batch production in Los Angeles, continuing to work with the same family-owned local factories it used from the start. Bond’s jacket is Rogue Territory’s slim-fit Supply Jacket in 10 oz Martexin waxed 100% cotton canvas, sewn in Los Angeles and built to age visibly with wear.
The fabric is naturally water-repellent, with a pull-up effect similar to leather. Its layout includes two exterior patch handwarmer pockets, a welt left chest pocket, and an interior right chest pocket, finished with branded nickel tack buttons, a natural herringbone locker loop, a five-button front, single-button cuffs, and adjustable waistband tabs. In No Time to Die, costume designer Suttirat Anne Larlarb put the jacket on Bond for the brief garage sequence that became one of the film’s most discussed casual looks after appearing in trailers and promotional coverage.
Bond wears the pointed collar slightly turned up, emphasizing the jacket’s short, tailored silhouette and workwear roots. Rogue Territory later marketed the Tan Ridgeline as the official jacket worn by Daniel Craig in the film. Its afterlife has been unusually strong for such limited screen time. Bond-focused style coverage has repeatedly singled it out as one of the movie’s most influential garments, and Rogue Territory has kept the model in regular circulation rather than treating it as a one-off costume tie-in.
