Quantum of Solace

Daniel Craig’s Bond arrives in Quantum of Solace looking suitably bruised: a ripped, bloodied polo after the fight with Edmund Slate at the Hotel Dessalines, then later a black Adidas Y-3 jacket as the chase carries him on. The film rarely stops to let the tailoring speak, but when it does, it lands with force. On the water in Talamone, Italy, he wears a black Tom Ford shawl-collar cardigan while seated toward the stern of a small motorboat, heading for René Mathis’s villa. A brief lull, a dark knit, and then the pace picks up again.
